I doubt it. SHIV uses modified engine of SHIII and releasing SDK for SHIII would also mean that it could be used to mod SHIV. Wait a few years and they just MIGHT release it, but I doubt it.

Ubi won't release anything, especially the SDKs for popular bestselling games.

Would you?

I didn't think so. :rotfl:

Make that three

But it might be better this way. Some people just wouldn't get to play anymore .
And besides would half of the community be spending more time on downloading upgrades and resolving issues with installing them, posting bugs etc, than actually on playing.

Hmm well I highly doubt they would release it. Also I join johnno74, he has the point. Even though I'm not a modder I understand that you'd need the source code to modify hardcoded elements, no tools will make you fiddle with hardcoded elements.

And then why would they release the source code of a game which is still on the shelves of some shops?

Seeing SHIII was never totally fixed as it should have been, and SH4 is still unfinished.....

:hmm: I don't really think Ubi used any kind of SDK in either one. Now, think about this carefully....
If they had, both would have been corrected and fininshed a long time ago.

True?
