8 patrols was a lot in the Pacific. Many commanders did only four or five. But the 'being retired with your boat' thing is not right. They need to address that.

Totally agree this will put off a few casual gamers...Well quite a few because after all we DO want to see the end of the war out and bask in its glory...Not being able to see the war out and get to drive most of the subs available just stinks....Well for those like me that WANT to start out on Day ONE with S18 and go all the bloody way!!!

This should be a priority change...As it nullifies the campaign
