I'm between mixed bag and beta tester. Shipping it without a working chronometer and now I can't customize a career I can only pick very hard, hard, normal , and easy. I'm just hoping they keep plugging away at it.

You can customize a career, click on the radio in the office. And I always thought the magical speed chrono was pretty gamey if your using manual TDC.

Between: Perfect game and much better than SH3 and Great potential, but needs a bit of polishing.

Its such a fun game but like any game it has a couple bugs that need to get fixed.

I voted great potential. It's still very fun to play, and as soon as the gameplay bugs get fixed I don't think I'll be going back to SH3 very often.

I couldn't go back if I wanted to, the true owner of the SHIII Cd (my Dad) confiscated it, No worries, I'm quite hurredly catching up to his tonnage.

Option 2 almost precisely for me.

I would add to it that I'm having a blast with the game as it is. I may not be happy with every technical detail, but I'm absolutely floored with the athmosphere so far and if nothing else - polishing my torpedo-aiming skills never looked so good!

The potential will materialize later. And it's not one of those 'build your own game' deals, either - far from; it's indeed a lot of polish that's needed, but not the meat of it.

So until here (n=57), roughly three in five are happy with the game and think it has only so minor issues that it needs polishing only, and two in five think that game has some serious issues and (at least by the polling options availble) voted for staying with SH3 for now, and/or even longer time in the future.

In my ears, this translates into "UBI has some serious work to do". Thanks for your participation everybody, it helped me to come to my final decision: which is to wait for some months.

And maybe not at all, it's depends.

70% say "Great potential, but needs a bit of polishing." or that it's perfect and that's what your ears hear?

Might be time to see an audiologist!
