Could Someone tell me what the tool helper doe,s I click on it &it opens but that seems to be it Any ideas Thankyou in advance Chris

I think its like a switch, click on it and use the ruler....it changes the look of it

It adds a compass to the course plotting tool and the ruler tool, I think. the compass rose centers around your mouse cursor when you move it over the navigation chart. That is at least what the tool helper does in 1.1

tis a strange one. I click on it, it opens, i can use the drawing tools and it shows on the map. I close it and i can use the drawing tools and it shows on the map. Not exactly sure what it does apart from looking good as it opens and shuts:hmm:

It basicly toggles the ruler having a circle protractor around it when draging your line.

With it closed, no circle protractor when draging a line
with it opened, circle protractor when draging a line
