For sure I'll do manual targeting from the get go, because that's one of the elements of the game I use most.

External camera absolutely will be on, both for training and for eye candy. For example, I always lower the scope after I shoot - I never watch the impact or the ship sinking through the scope. So I'll use the external to watch the sinkings - too much fun to miss, at least at first.

Oh, thank the Creator - I now have enough posts I no longer have the "One Night In Bangkok" avatar.

I might have external camera, but otherwise realistic all the way!

event cam on only. That way I get to see sinking and torpedo hits but I don't have to resist escort spying.

Good idea, that's my choice also then.

Probably with externals on, but full real besides that. Wanna see the new graphics and make some nice desktop backgrounds.

Honest answer is, it depends how different the TDC is. It's taken me years to get used to how the German one works. If it's very different, i'll be keeping WO supportt unchecked. Just so i can hit something.

External view on for me. Be good if they had the same setup like in SH2 where in external view while submerged your view range was limited you could not view above the water, so you had the view of your sub but had to go to periscope depth to view above using your scope. Or was that a mod i used?
