That 2nd series of screenshots. NO. I had about 3% hull integrity at the moments the last pictures were taken. (and both engines were destroyed if i remember correctly.)

But if you look at the size of the boat in relation to the ramming escort.. it certainly raises an eybrow.

thats one helluva boat..longer than the escort

When I saw your screenshots of the DD on top of you I immediately thought of "The Enemy Below". I half expected to see Robert Mitchum and Kurt Jergens in the close up screenshots.

Good movie. I'm not much of a Mitchum fan but not a bad movie at all. This u-boat is huge.

I tried the 45 start and all I could get was the VIIC. Unless I'm missing something...like renown I used Bergen as my port and yes I was promptly sunk. No joke.....
