Were you turning? If no, then I'm sure someone like Molon Labe, Xabba, Luft Wolf, or Sea Queen could help you, cause it's most likely a bug. I'll give them a buzz if they don't reply soon.

No, I'm not turning. I just played Blue Dragon using seawolf and ordered it to pd and it tries to surface. I'll probably try to do a reinstall of dw and lwami, see what happens and I'll keep this up to date. Thanks.

I was playing the first mission in the campaign, going straight at 5 knts. When I ordered PD, the ships broke the surface, when I ordered a dive it hit the bottom.

What was the sea state? Also, for the last post, you state you ordered PD and it surfaced, dive and it hit the bottom. I never use the commands for depth changes. Once you become use to what it takes for the 'scope to breach the surface w/o surfacing, and performing a gradual dive, there's no need and you can be more precise with exact depth orders.
The ordered PD is 67 feet and the shallow dive is 147 feet. If you ordered a dive in shallow water...of course you'll hit the bottom. |

It sounds like a seastate problem to me.In Sicillian Wedding Bill advises to to turn the wave riding off as you ground on the exit from the harbour.Just a thought.

It's not a sea state problem. I turned off the wave riding and it's doing the same thing. I noticed that if you use the orders menu then this problem persist but when you use the nos. on the depth bar it work just fine.

Maybe that's the problem. I guess we sceptics never use depth menu.
I personaly use only Alt+D or shift+number. Both works fine. |
