I am glad that the internet has given ordinary people a tiny percentage of the power governments have been abusing since the first surveillance satellite.

Very cool photo. I scrolled southwards to try to find a source platform, but it seems like you can't go far before the imagery switches over to a different date.

P.S. It's a SLAM, not a SLAM-ER

P.S.S. You CAN set waypoints for the missile. It may not have been launched directly from the south.

The smoke trail leads to the edge of that particular set of images.

Not on the download version of Google Earth. And the smoke trail dissapates. SLAM's don't use booster motors to launch from the air.

There is a missile test facility west of Salt Lake City - I believe close to or in Box Elder County.
