Goody!
I'll watch them again, and take a few notes, and put something up. Two nights ago, and last night I watched them, but was doing laundry and other things. I'll sit down and pay attention this time.... |

I just got my copy today and watched the first 2 parts about the boats and the captains. Really interesting. If this doesn't get you all fired up to play SH4 nothing will.

Its an awesome series. Great Reenactments and interviews with vets.
I like the last episode the best, where it describes different attack methods. It seems the US Subs were more flexible when it came to who did what on an attack. The Captain might main the scope himself and call out the data or have his executive officer do it. The method varied from captain to captain. Also how some captains early in the war gave up on the faulty magnetic exploder and would violate orders by using the contact..but that was faulty too! All in all a good buy! ![]() |

The best video I have found is a set of 5 vhs tapes from the old show Silent Service which was done late 50's early 60's.They are set to war partols of famous fleet boats during WW2.The quality of the tapes are not the best but great scenes on fleet boats.
