I can appreciate that. Unfortunately, games seldom ever get every last little detail historically accurate. Even if a tltle is a labor of love and resources are allocated to research, invariably it always comes down to economics. While there are many issues which factor into the equation: a limited budget, resources and development cycle often lead to compromises. And unfortunately, historical accuracy usually suffers to a degree. Personally, this is one I can live with.

As can I.

I was just putting a different "twist" on some of the comments previously mentioned regarding weathering on the boat - or where rust was and wasn't. Thought mention of the anchor and deck lines was in line with the other comments.

Anyone know if the fugures on the deck and in the boat move around or are they fixed?

Will we see the forward hatch open and the figures climb out, inflate the boat climb in and paddle off?

It would if they do......

In the 3rd Dev Diary there is a flyby of the boat going by with Marines on the deck. If you watch the guy sitting on his butt, it looks like he is looking around. It's kinda like watching the Zapruder film, you gotta look close.

No. It was the same with SHIII; a note every great once-in-a-while, and nothing more.

I guess the devs are 'polishing the cannonball' and don't have to time to give us further updates.
