also where and which version of the mod controler and commander do i need

also with links to where i cna get them .

I go tto the links in bootys sig but there are several files and i dont know which ones i need....

I got those files.... i downloaded from there 2 days ago there the ones giving me problems I however did not do the Dec patch
I have the file: GWX_-_Dec_23rd_Corrections.7z and the GWX.exe.7z but there is no exicuatable for these, what do i do with the patch file?

Also none of this explaines why I have no ammo in my deck gun .....

would any of these problems be because the game does not automatically delete the my doc's folder when you do an uninstall? I just found this folder in my doc's and it didnt get removed...

desperate cpt needs deck ammo....

and before this gets asked running a DELL XPS 400
Nvida 6800 graphic card
2 GIG RAM
and dual D processors

Ok
The 7zip files need to be extracted
Get 7zip here - http://www.7-zip.org/

Place all the bin files and the exe in one folder and run the exe
The Dec 23rd patch needs to be unzipped to C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\MODS - the MODS folder will be added during install

But lets sort the first problem
Hmmm no deck guns shells

Go to C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Cfg

Open Basic.cfg in notepad

Search for [AMMO_TYPE0];10.5cm SK C/32

It should say

[AMMO_TYPE0];10.5cm SK C/32
Idx=0
Year=1939
Month=1
AP=40
HE=60
SS=20

Just under that is the 88mm

Check those entries against yours

right now ive only installed the basic game and the 1.4 patch so im guessing you want me to install teh GW mod and its patch and then check those file configs for the ammo?

What are you going to install ?
If you are going to install GWX then carry on and dont bother adding GW1.1

Before you add GWX dont forget to save the Umark.tga
Look in my first reply for the path
You can then add it to your GWX install
