That would be nice to have it for GWX too.

Sorry for hijacking your thread Anvart

I've adapted your method for raising/lowering radars for GWX (on tests now) and it'll be released (if you agree with it) with the next GWX update.

Please, tell about it more in detail.
If I have correctly understood, your method of radar positioning is not so good for raising/lowering of the radar antenna (especially on Type9)?
Or I am mistaken?

I've reverted the rotating sensors to their original position and moved the fixed one (FUMO29) so it's properly placed, removed the R01 nodes and renamed the R02 to R01 on the towers with both nodes, and corrected the R01 on the remaining towers so FUMO29 is positioned where it's supposed to be on those towers also.

Hi Anvart,

just a small question. Do you plan to release a version for NYGM 2.4? That would be nice especially since NYGM 2.4 is the final version of NYGM and already includes some of your earlier work. I tried to change your 2.3 version to 2.4 but was not sure about some entries in the basic.cfg,...

Anyway, great work!

Cheers, LGN1

Hi,

I am aware that it does work, but it will undo some changes made from NYGM 2.3 to 2.4. For instance, the ammo loadout in basic.cfg has changed from 2.3 to 2.4. Thus, using the 2.3 Version of Anvart will change the ammo loadout back to 2.3. The ammo loadout is no problem since you can easily change it back, but there are also other things which are changed. Just compare the basic.cfg from NYGM 2.3 with NYGM 2.4 and with the basic.cfg from Anvart. I think there are also other files which change from NYGM 2.3 to NYGM 2.4 and which are affected by Anvart's mod.

Hi,

thanks for the answers. I am a little bit confused now. As far as I understand NYGM 2.4 contains the RadSonDF_NYGM2_3 version at the moment. However, you have improved this version a lot to get RadSonDF_NYGM23_v1_2. This new version is not included in NYGM 2.4, isn't it? It is also not based on NYGM 2.4 files but on NYGM 2.3 files. Am I wrong? Any clarification is highly appreciated.

Cheers, LGN1

Yes, you are right. Key files are sensors.dat,*.sim, basic.cfg, xx_menu.txt.
Hi Anvart,

Thank you for the clarification. Shall I upload the sensors.dat,*.sim, basic.cfg, xx_menu.txt files from NYGM2.4 for you? Just tell me if you want that.

Thanks again for all your work and help.

Cheers, LGN1

NYGM 2.4 already contains RadSonDF_NYGM2_3 version mod!
Read Stiebler's text.
I knew that NYGM 2.4 contains radar and DF rotation, but not which version. The readme also does not say anything about the version.

If you are interested I have uploaded the Turm2* files of NYGM. The *.sim files are not touched. As far as I can see, NYGM uses the stock *.sim files for these Turms.

Here is the link:

Edit:
"...but I am confused with overlay technology of Schnorchel/RWR replacement" I am also confused with this
