Apparently so...however, I personally have never tried it. If you are using SH3Commander don't forget to rollback prior to altering the file

As I mentioned elswhere on SubSim I have used C. Gibs directions successfully through 1 full war. This was on a vanilla 1.4 install, running beside Commander. Note that this is fun for some things (limited time, trying tactics, etc.) and is NO where near the fun of GWX (imho). I do not know if this will work with GWX and have no desire to be the first to try it....

@Respensus: With the above caveat on my installation, and a suggestion to OF COURSE back up your files first, I have 7-zipped the relevant, modified files from my installation. Even zipped they come to a little more than 3mb. PM me if you are still interested and I'll try to figure how to get them to you.

.

Lots of fish = burning BB, sinking bogue carrier, sinking Illustrious, and misc. merchants sunk. Using limited time kept my wife happy!

Merry Christmas!

Large crews with no fatigue may be unrealistic, and I could argue that crew management is the reponsibility of the First Officer, not the Kapt.

Did you use the commander program to say what your patrol area was?

Is that pretty much the only way to use the mods?

I used Commander 2.6, and now that I think about it, I only specified a quadrant when the program said "O." It still usually assigned me to a patrolable (non-land) area.

A brief word of advice if I may....this forum and those who post here abide strictly to a policy that does not condone software piracy in any way shape or form.
I sincerely hope you have purchased the original disc and the 'crack' you refer to is only some form of mod

Having said that....welcome aboard

btw the problem to have a XXI in 1939 was solved with Sub Ready 1.1
there's not only basic.cfg and flotilla.cfg to configure: they must be configured with accurancy or you'll find a XXI maybe in '39 but with an horrible ammo too.
In Sub Ready, instead, you can find any u-boot and not only XXI, and finally, you can get inspire for further development.

You can found the "Sub Ready" post in the appropriate section on this forum

It sounds much like a spot for me i'm sorry.
