I agree that the sky, and ship model are much better in Dangerous Waters but the water oh no.
The highest setting which uses pixel shaders is not realistic by a long shot, that is why I prefer to set it one notch under.
Without the pixel shaders, the water effects are more convincing in DW.
Well, to be fair, I'm only judging by this screenshot and a couple of others. And to me, DW's Water textures look better from what I've seen. Maybe I would think differently if I ever fired up VS and saw what it looks like on the PC. BTW, I think the work people are doing on VS is just amazing. But I'm just not sure that I agree that this beats out DW's graphics. I guess I'll leave it to you guys who know more about both and have seen them in action.

And I'll try using the water without pixel shaders and see what results I get. Thanks for the suggestion.
