Here is something I found.
I play with no god mode running but when I was leaving port, there was ships all over the map. I zoomed in and the plots turned into ships. I thought crap, I screwed up and picked the wrong button for god mode. Then when I got further and further from port, the plots started to disappear off the map. :hmm:
