Imagine secretly gliding into an enemy harbor on a midget sub - that would be really great. There should be an option to add new, playable subs as well - like in MS FlightSimulator. So people could create midget subs and all those other fascinating and weird experiments. (I remember there was a huge Japanese submarine-"carrier" in WW2, for example) Cheers, AS

@ Neal, now that I´m one of the few guys who spell your name right, couldn´t you tell the SH4 DevTeam about our votes? Maybe it´ll encourage UbiSoft to keep SH alive and kicking...

Cheers, AS

What we need is a great nuclear subsim. A hunter/attack submarine, staying submerged for weeks and moving at 40 knots, or listening and hunting Russian subs, and stay in control of those hot reactors

I want SHV to be everything SH3 should have been. Wolfpacks, better AI, more accurate technology, updated graphics, more diversity in mission type, less crew babysitting (at least SHIV sounds like they got that part right), more interaction with BdU through radio messages, etc.

I want all of that for an SHIII re-release/update. I keep cheering for SH3.5-The Kaleun's Edition (tm). SH5 needs to have full walk-around, full (and fully animated) crew, full multi-player functionality with Destroyer Command 2 (or Corvette Command-The Cruel Sea (tm)) and even your flotilla commander and a pretty secretary in the office when you recieve your orders.

And maybe even the "Break out the half a bottle of beer for every man" button that you can use after big sinkings. Watch your crew morale skyrocket.

By the time SH5 comes out It'l be like 2009. I don't want to be still playing SH3 to drive a U-Boat. SH5 needs to be a U-Boat sim
