By the sound of a few they were planning to make SH3 VERY Sim-like. Like being able to control dive plane angle or to "sweep" to a bearing is very real world.

If you're at all curious, go to C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\data\Sound\Speech_En (assuming a standard default setup with C as your drive). Within that folder are 9 more, all of speech sound files. It's mindboggling what is there, and double mindboggling picturing the potentials of all that.

The 9 folders contains same phrases, with different voices so to give player a variety.

I think the normal dive, dive in shallow etc. sounds are there. Not sure, but when I order a dive (by pressing 'D') in shallow water, I get the report that the water is shallow.

the 9 folders contain 9 different voices
in 1 folder you have different voice behaviour : Panic, Normal, Whisper(silent rig)

its pitty not all the files work like they should have done.
btw which file contains the script that the sound correspond to?
like ''Bearing 00'' 3 differents sound play ''sound file ''Bearing'' , sound file ''0'' x2

Is there a way to bind sound files to certain actions? For example, GW has the great "radio message received" and WAC has a clicking sound when a ship is detected in the uzo.
