The song sun in russian at the begining of the hunt for red october.Does anyone know if it is a real song or a Basil Poledouris composition?And whats it about?

The song that was sug at the begining of the film was composed for the film. It's entitled "Ode to the Red October" I sill love the Russian National Anthem sung as they engage the silent drive!!

I loved the Conan theme, especially the one from Conan The Destroyer. Really gets your blood pumping.
