Lol, I think the installer will not let me install the game. Might give a error message: "Dowly, mate. Maybe it´s best for the virtual europe and all the innocent civilians that will fall under your command that I break your DVD drive. Press OK if you agree. Press Install anyway to format C:\"

Dont worry, Boris, when GWX comes along I`ll drop this game like a brick. Nice of Sega to release this so we have something to do in the meantime, hehe.

:rotfl: :rotfl: I remember when i played Rome Total War that i used to kill most of the population to get them in fear of me straight away. This never seemed to work in Spain though god i hated them Spainards in that game i could never get them under control

@ Stabiz that is a great pic good to see you are using the mighty English It looks so much better than Rome Total war. I want it now I just know as soon i get hold of it the GWX beta will be here

Yeah, I really got to dislike vanilla Rome war after RTR. Medieval is different though, I think they learnt from there mistakes, MTW2 seems grittier and more historically accurate. I have to say, right now I could live without an MTR... I couldn't think of what they would change.

I can play it, but only kinda ok. I have a AMD Athlon 64 3800+, ABIT KN8 SLI, 1,5 gig RAM, XFX 7900GS 256MB. I have most settings on high (and some on very high), but the minute i start adding AA my computer starts to cry.

I have 30-50 fps in battles.

But I read somewhere that the game actually looks pretty ok on lower settings too.

Well, I get my copy as soon as my friend goes to work tomorrow morning! (He works on a game store, so he paid my copy and will drop it to my mailbox as he leaves to work tomorrow )

You have a fine machine there, dowly. That graphics card is really good. You should be able to turn on some antialiasing.

The bloom effect is a hog too, but I have to have it, it looks so cool.

Look at this beast of a fortress! (Its not even the largest in the game) The enemy (Denmark) retreated to the second courtyard when I breached the outer walls. Thank god I had one ram left.
