IIRC - You must be running EXACTLY the same setup. I.e Both of you must have Stock SH3 1.4b only or Stock 1.4b + Med addon.

Most of the Supermods/Add ons require to play online about exact the same Installation of it. if you dont , you will experience an CTD when he is loading the game. because according to the Server (ur friend) the person who joins (you) dont comply with files the server has and so one. failure to communicate and Bang you're at desktop
