It would make for one hell of a video.

Install cameras on both models for crew eye's view. Imagine what the view would be like from the cockpit of the bomber (I can see a B-24 here) or the view from behind the AA guns.

I wonder if you could create some scaled down depth charges to add to the effect....

Real hardcore guys would use real model depth charges. Like in this vid of model battleships that actually fire I saw somewhere. They actually sink them.
