Yeah man, I did an uninstall to start fresh. Got the same message. I had to get rid of the SH3 folder in documents folder. I then did a search for anything else relating to SH3. I found 4 and deleted these. I had no problem after that. ALL traces must go away!

European versions sold in the US
I had this same problem trying to upgrade my downloaded version of SH3 to V 1.4b. Having purchased it in the US, I tried the Download US verson of the patch.
Did not work I tried, even though I knew it was wrong the DvD US patch Did not work Just for S&G I tried to download the European/Asian Download patch Did work! If you are having problems downloading the 1.4 patch try a different "country" version even though you purchased it in the good ole USA. Took me three evenings to figure this out |
