Well I found the solution to my problem, I re-installed the game
and let it detect my new Vid card and now it runs great! Overall though I feel ATI cards make this game look better but as some- one else said there not putting a lot of the newer chips in AGP format these days. My card has a special " bridge" chip that lets it work on AGP since it's really a PCI-E part... |

IMO anything from the 5000 series is a stinking pile of horse manure. What ever happened at Nvidia back then is a mystery to me, but it wasn't making good graphics cards. Now the 6000-series that was some nice cards! I know several who still runs happily on their 6800s

I have run nothing but NVida cards and not had any issues at all with them. I have used the 5200, 5500 and now the 6200 OC 256MB. These cards have performed well for me. I have not gone much higher in the cards because it requires a larger power supply and I'm not willing to part with my money for that card/power supply combo. I will when absolutely necessary.
![]() Everyone should check their virtual memory. SH3 is a memory hog and does not hesitate to start swapping between the hard drive. I do not care what video card you have...if the game is swapping and looking for memory off the hard driver, your game will not run well ![]()

I have an eGeForce 7600GS 256MB PCI-E I bought back in June. It works wonderfully and was the best bang for the buck at the time.
![]() I had tried an ATI card before then and was reminded why I always had Nvidia. Screen flicker on startup was one of my main qualms. Anyway, SHIII runs perfectly on my card.
