Ok that last paragraph of Subserpent is really something I don't agree with, although I'm by no means a Bush supporter. And I've yet to see a survey that says the Iraqis wanted a democracy before Saddam was removed. Did anyone ask them?
I've yet to see some credible evidence that Iraq under Saddam in 2003 posed a threat to the US, and even then, an invasion is out of question by international law, unless the US would've been attacked by Saddam beforehand.
What's more, you can't justify the means with the outcome you dream of, especially when you're the agressor and have achieved nothing but to turn a nation into chaos and civil war.

Perhaps I struck a nerve and he has to admit to himself that I am right and he is wrong. Therefore he has nothing better to say or facts to come up with to prove me wrong. No wonder I feel the way I do, no one has proven me wrong or what I claim to be UNtrue! Show the proof in the future and quit with all the short, "SubSerpent is crazy" comments. It's not crazy from my viewpoint, so therefore, if your are going to call me crazy you need to prove it in the future.

You're the one leveling all the unsubstantiated crazy charges. The burden of proof is on you to prove your insane asssertions. That's like me throwing a charge out there that John Kerry is a child rapist. And it's up to you to prove it's not true. I'm really shocked SubSerpent if you are truly an adult....or even gone passed the 8th grade.

Not only myself but many others here have been discussing it with him for several months now without result. His posts are perfectly designed to make people see Democrats and their supporters as complete looneys.

Seriously, don't believe me, go back and look at his past postings, especially the threads he has started. They are full of him tossing insulting names like nazis, neocons, murderers and more.

You're right. I do have a lack of will to discuss it with him. After all, as i said earlier, each and every one of his posts is like a Republican created advertisement on why Democrats shouldn't be trusted to run out country. Since the only Democrat that I would vote for as President has been tossed out of his own party for not pandering enough to this type of hysteria i'm fine with the occasional laugh at his expense.

I don't recall in the history of man that any enemy nations citizens have been asked whether they agreed to a removal of the regime in power, but there have been many calls by various Iraqi groups for us to do just that ever since Desert Storm.

What we do there now, having achieved our objective of removing him, is at least try to stablize the situation before leaving. Maybe we'll succeed and maybe we'll fail, time will tell, but we both know that if it were any other nation besides the US, with the possible exception of the British, Iraq would have either been left to its own devices or permanently annexed as a colony.
