Iambecomelife:
To be honest, I didn't play RB3D in DID mode. The game's mechanics simply are too unfair in my view to complete an entire career with DID. I'm specifically referring to: -the unnatural amount of damage planes can take (I often have to hit a plane over 200 times, and this can take as many as 10 minutes, that's just wrong) -the stupidity of fellow pilots (and enemy as well) -the dangers of maiming/wounding/being captured (you never know when a wound becomes a maiming, what's going to happen when you're captured and in my case I've even been captured in safe territory) I started out in August 1915 and I had to reload quite a few times. Sometimes I could play several missions in a row and sometimes I'd lost an evening trying to make it through a single one. I am convinced it is impossible to complete a DID RB3D career. For WWI, I've not yet found any sim to top RB3D. Kind regards, Eichenlaub
