Yes! Somehow the gauges are different then on the Type VII. Do you know any good beaches?

Does anyone actually have a figure on how many civilians own military subs (including subs re-fitted for research, etc.?).

Somehow I think the number is 0 (and that the research boats are conducting research with government/naval crews), but I could be wrong.

But yes, it'd be damned nice to have. I can think of a 1000 nice, mean, and illegal things to do with it.

Has anyone read that Patrick Robinson book that mentions how a submerged US nuclear submarine accidentally comes upon a sail boat on the open sea, with the couple owning it having sex on the deck? It goes something like "The watchman got the camera rolling, and they played it on the ship's TVs for months afterwards".

I believe it was from Tom Clancy's "Red Storm Rising".

I remember the line that the two people on the boat were "superimposed, horizontally".

What do you purpose we do with a half-million dollar U-boat? Go and sink some British and American shipping with it? Or perhaps we could open a resturant on it? We could call it "Dirty Dick's Crab Shack" or something? Actually, that name has already been used at a few resturants in North Carolina and Florida. Pretty gross!
One of them is located in "AVON,................................................. .................................................. ........North Carolina"

I just wanna know who's gonna buy a half million dollar sub based on pictures on a website. There was barely any info! I just hope it wasn't my country that bought it. The last decommissioned sub we bought from the British had an electrical fire while at sea for the first time under our flag and killed a Canadian sailor!

I'm glad you bought them, as Australia was going to buy them. We've built our own, they leak, but at least they work!!
