If you´re using the stock game, you might be able to find a version of the excellent Holywood Damage Mod by Gouldjg. It provides a thrilling experience and delays a lot the death screens; does gove you a chance to save yourself if you are quick enough, juggling the crew from one damaged compartment to another.

A further refined version of the Hollywood Damage is incorporated in the heart of the Grey Wolves supermod also. Click on my sig for more information.
