Default GUI Issues

I managed to get SH4 v 1.5 to run via Steam on a new computer. But, when I adjust the resolution size to fit my screen (1920 x 1080) the main menu screen font (and all the subsequent menu fonts) is small and hard to read.

I've gone through several threads looking for a fix but have come up empty. It also doesn't help I'm not very skilled in reading alot of the code materials.

What am I missing and can you give it to me in Captain Dummy talk?

What size (dimensions) is your monitor? I have a 27inch 1920x1080, and it all looks fine, but I could see a 24 inch or smaller monitor causing my eyes issues... the 27 inch monitor at 2k in SH4 is definitely too tiny, and at 4k is unusable... now, other folks seem to think its fantastic doing that... but it is an OLD game, so you are kind of stuck with what it does when changing resolution. At least it is better than the SH3 method...

I’m using a gaming laptop that I think is 17 inches or so utilizing 1920x1080. I got the game to work on a newer laptop that has similar dimensions but didn’t have this problem so I don’t know what I did (if anything) different.
