No, La Rochelle start. Just did a classic start of 1941 career. I play with no choice in missions (at least until you earn reputation) and was pretty surprised to see my first patrol was to head well south.

Some screens from my recently completed second patrol...a bit more harrowing.

I was properly devastated when I couldn't get SH IV to work on W11, but this is filling the gap nicely.

Patrols three, four, and five:

Only got one patrol in the mid-Atlantic gap before I was ordered to head to the Med. Hell of a convoy battle, though. One AI boat got sunk, but between the 5 boats almost 90k tons.

Into the Med, makes me wish we had a British subsim game...
