I have heard mixed answers for this question but is it ok to save/reload game inside patrol area as long as there are no ships/planes sighted, you are not near land, and not near destroyed marks? Or do I have to travel outside of the designated patrol area to save? Or are neither of these safe save places?

More specifically outside of the British Coastal Waters patrol area arc

I've never had an issue, just remember the patrol timer is reset.

I need a little help, I am new to the game (btw did not play it since many years) and mods and hoping someone will help me..


Problem1

Stadimeter:
- seems to be bugged. When trying to using it in attack periscope it will not work. Wenn trying it in UZO or the observation periscope, stadimeter works. After once working in UZO or observation periscope, it will work in attack periscope too.

Problem2

When looking in Options Editor and opening the "TheDarkWraithUserOptions.py" there are hotkeys enabled for:
HEADING:
- increasing/decreasing desired heading when heading bar is mouse in (key c and q)

I tested these hotkeys in game, but the keys are not working. Can you help me to get these working?

Good morning everyone, after a long time with sh3, I went back to sh5 twos, installed with Ubisoft connect, started the game, deactivated connect, replaced.exe, installed twos, everything ok. But when I install the Generic File Patch, and click about 40 times, it only gives me 8 patches instead of 9, the first one tells me it doesn't recognize the exe... does anyone know the solution?

I never replaced any exe. And play with Ubi connect connected, and save the games in the Ubi cloud...What is that exe?

You need to patch to 1.2, maybe.

I read it from the Twos installation instructions:
" If you own Digital/Ubisoft Connect download version of the game, you'll have to perform
manual sh5.exe replacement before you proceed to TWoS installation. Valid v1.2.0 sh5.exe
from DVD version of the game can be found on this link...
