In what universe does everyone know that the Enterprise uses PROTON torpedoes?

As all well informed people know. The Enterprise uses PHOTON torpedoes.

Don't be ashamed. Trek is fantastic. a Modern sci-fi Shakespearean inspired series. If you wanna make fun of sci-fi geek to talk to the Star Wars kids. Trek has real human value. It's like Hamlet, Othello, and King Lear in 2459.

ok... with all due respect I must disagree with this statement.... Star Trek is a soap opera for nerds, nothing more or less.
