Default That sinking feeling

Some GWX convoys include uboats attacking them and it is possible to find damaged ships as a result. There's also a chance of air attack on convoys in some situations.

However most probably it is because modded SH3 can have some very unseaworthy ships. When the waves get high they start to struggle and may even sink. Flower class corvettes were particularly susceptible in GWX at one point, which is funny as they were famously seaworthy (if also very uncomfortable).

As Mister_M implies, lots of people have messed with the ship parameters and the weather and the extent of the problem varies with the exact mods you have loaded. For me the problem went away when I selected standard x1 wave heights in SH3 Commander->SH3 options->Gameplay Settings->Set wave height.

Default DD Destroyer with tail under water

I think the problem was the Zones cfg. which I manipulated like I did before in SH.5. There I had no problem with the changing. Now I play with the original Zones cfg. of LSH 2022 and the destroyer drive normal in the sea.
