Aye, you're spot on Mr Squirrel, people couldn't look beyond his public persona with the sex pistols and thought that was what he was like in real life. They probably didn't know that he was one of the first people to reveal that Jimmy Saville was a kiddie fiddler as well, that was way back in 1978. John was banned off the TV and Radio for that one, the BBC Executives brushed all that under the carpet as usual and that Radio interview with John was never aired.

His wife "Nora" put up a good fight, but in the end that disease is not forgiving and it could strike anyone down, any time.
