Hans-Martin Scheibe). It is intended to pick up the crew of U 167 (KrvKpt. Kurt Sturm) from the Canaries with U 455 and to transport them home later, some on each of these two boats. b) U 203 (Kptlt. Hermann Kottmann; ex Mützelburg) sighted in BE 1689 a large vessel type "Queen Elizabeth" course S.W.; contact lost in view of high speed. B-Dienst Report: a) The first modified Lancaster ED765/G ("G" for "Guard" denoting the special security arrangements required) bomber was delivered to the Royal Aircraft Establishment at Farnborough, Hampshire, England, for planned attacks against German dams.
