CTD - it's not just a job

![]() That is with the Jap_Minfields loaded, merged with Campaign_NMS and _LOC for clarity. Okinawa is just off-screen to the left. It might have been better to state you were going west for your escape, or perhaps approximately where you were at the time of the attack in your first posting. Much easier to find where you were after the posting quoted above. Now, several little points... Number one, you don't mention the date. That can loom large as to what weapons and platforms can be brought to bear upon you. Number two, you don't mention the escorts encountered, to help in determining what you actually have around you. Third, you do not mention how you determined there were no airplanes involved. Lastly, which boat are you in? Especially in RFB, your boat choice really matters. The S-Boats are extremely fragile, but some of the others are also. RFB is not at all like the Stock game in this regard, and most of the boats are questionable about being able to go much below test depth, especially if you have already sustained damage. However, all of that said, most of that is probably a moot point. What I see in your mod list is an SH5 mod in the "Enhanced smoke 1.2 from Han Solo". Besides not "matching" the Roster of ships in RSRDC, there are probably a few files that are not compatible with SH4, and especially RFB. It might also be that the Save folder itself has leftovers of previous mod set-ups that are not compatible with what you have currently loaded. I would double-check the mod list for compatibility with RFB, and then clear the Save folder data through Windows File Explorer, and start a new career. Either that, or take your one successful escape, and go with that, get back to base, and try another patrol. Just be aware that there is probably some bad data in the Save folder. ![]()
