if you weren't the cashiers cousin do you think they still wouldn't ask for ID? Or better yet is your cashier cousin in the habit of giving money to strangers without proper ID?

No and you wouldnt need ID if you have the card more to the point once you get into the chip itself the password is acctualy on there so you wouldnt need to go to the cashier just the ATM.

Maybe that's how it works over there but i just went to the bank the other day to get a cashiers check for a vehicle i had just bought and the clerk didn't even want to see my ATM card. I had to produce 2 forms of picture id and he checked my signature on both as well as the withdrawl slip against their stored electronic version.

Maybe it was just my particular banks policy?
