I honestly think the WW2 sub simulator is done for.

The genre has dozens of not hundreds of games from the 70,s to 2023, and they are making another one based on the board game U-Boot… and it honestly looks exactly like U-Boat!

Modern naval submarine simulators are going to be your next upcoming genre. A lot of the older modern submarine classified information is now out there for the public, so it’s going to be a field day for creators to come up with more games like it. And I’m not talking games like Cold Waters, but actual, you are the captain inside the command room of a nuclear sub, style simulator!

Yes a bit confusing that one DeepWater Studio made the pc UBoat Game then Iron Wolf Studio (developers of Destroyer TUBH) made a board game based upon the Pc game with a companion app and now that the board game is out of print another company called “out of the ordinary’ is making a Pc version ofthe board game

Bah! Stuff Ubisoft! I love the Silent Hunter series, but Ubisoft ain't what it used to be, so they can keep their, "UPlay" and carry on pulling the rug out from under old customers. I've passed on several recent games due to them being from Ubisoft.

Microprose is back and doing great things. Maybe they'll give us a modern version of the, "Silent Service" series, like they're working on for, "B-17: The Mighty Eighth" and the rest of the B-17 games.
