Wouldn't it be nice if SH4 is to SH3 what AEP and PF is to IL2FB, that is, installable over the top with some fundamental flaws fixed and new bits added to expand the overall game (note singular use of the word game here).

Won't happen though.

Or they could always do what EA did with BF2..either release a patch just before sh4 comes out or have a patch on the SH4 disk.

Or fix everything and release it as SH3.5, or SHIII-Kaluen's Edition.

? for the members who have been around longer and know the history of ubi development. Is it already set in stone that ubi will not officialy revisit sh3 or never release the sdk? read on some mod threads that there are certain things the modders can not do without the sdk release.
(ignorant on wht sdk is--does it enable altering of the hard-coded parts of the game?)
