There were still plenty like this one sailing at war start, but only Ccom12 have them (and maybe LSH3 as Rowi was part of the team at start?)...

Ship Identified SOUND FISHER Bulk Carrier
This ship
NKSEF= Bulk Carrier or Coal Freighter Dont know what does KSEF mean Small Kargo Engine aFt maybe? Matches This Ship Very Closely SOUND FISHER Built by: Samuel Peter Austin & Son, Wear Dock, Sunderland Complete by: 01/10/1941 Comparsion Model Ship Lenght 96.5m 98.6m Draft 6.2m 5.8m GRT 2923t 2931t Also notice the "W" letter on the funnel on the real ship it is "WF" represents William France, Fenwick & Co., Ltd.That is the only company I could find with letter W initials and it is one of the biggest collier owners in Britain. The mast in the center of the ship model is taller that the real ship, but the moddeller didn't specify which ship he is really after so I can't say this is wrong. The rest of the sister ships dont have that mast at all. What is your opinion can we confirm this is a match? Also can some one change the title of this thread for me please? Last edited by shadow_wxh; 01-29-21 at 02:42 AM. |

Don't think so... unless the modder, took liberties what with leaving off the... what looks like 2 cranes, on the backside & redid the bridge structure... 2 key points, that I noticed right off. M. M.

The hull, however... does bear a striking... similarity.

Kind of looks more like a Dance-class trawler. HMS Veleta: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dance-class_trawler Last edited by G011d3nPony; 02-23-22 at 09:37 PM. |
