I remember watching many football games with John Madden and Pat Summerall announcing the games. Pat Summerall balanced out the announcing with professionalism while John Madden could barely contain his enthusiasm for the game. Being a former player and coach, John madden knew football and always gave the viewers the benefit of his knowledge.
Rest in Peace. |

Not always the best advice though:
John Madden with 1:37 left of regular play in Superbowl XXXVI: Quote:
He did change his tune though once the Pats made it into Rams territory: Quote:

^ He wasn't always right but then, who is ? John Madden was entertaining though and made football games fun to watch while he and Pat Summerall did the announcing. John Madden is / was a lot more knowledgeable and fun to listen to than former Quarterback Tony Romo who appears to have a bias against a number of players..

So what happens to Madden football Games now?
Maybe a cross between The Walking Dead and Madden NFL? So you could have players that died long ago but still have their skills? ![]() If they do that? It was MY IDEA and I want my cut! |
