Galley task doesn’t matter. I don’t assign any sailors or officers to it and it’s never a problem. I just stocked the galley with two types of food. Bug?

not a bug and it kind of matters.
Galley will always be manned by a sailor. however if you assign an officer there, it raises morale. additionally, if there is only one type of food being made in the galley (being cooked, not stored) it will not raise morale... if you put more than one type of food out of storage into the actual galley for preparation it raises morale. when you are diving deep and evading destoryers and taking a big morale hit, if you put a variety of food on the cooker it will actually provide you with some positive morale boost

What I’m saying is I never put galley on sailors tasks and there is no negative effect.
You never have to man it was sailors or officers. You can completely ignore it. |
