Skybird Thank you so much for your interesting input.

The board game I had in mind would be very complex. Guessing 4-6 players controlling German forces. Land, sea, air force and air defence, incl. Coastal Defences.

Same number of USA-players.

My idea was the time is March/April 1940 and it will be up to the player to decide which way he will go with his troops-E.g. The 2-3 players who are controlling Japan-decide to attack Russia instead, so Russia is fighting a two front war.
Only exact number of troops, material a.s.o. will be there.

As you understand, there will be battles all over the world. The AAR threads will be some, not only one.

Sounds like kind of an interface that you may find attractive. The board cosim it is a conversion, is a classic, and available still, even at Amazon. I think it will never get an AI, I am occasionally checking this project since over a decade.

Thank you Skybird. I have been looking at many strategic WWII games on Matrix games homepage.

I have not yet found a online board game where the number of participant is higher than 2 or. I'm thinking of a game where the number of participant who is controlling the German assets around 4-6 players.

The total number of participant will be high. Each controlling a part of a countries military assets, like the navy or air force.

As I said my idea of this board game is truly comprising(complex is not the correct word).

It will only stay as an idea. It's too much work.

Table Top Simulator on Steam is an awesome virtual board game sight.

I created many games here. If you are serious about it.

Thank you for your input.

Yes I'm serious however I wonder if it's possible to create it, because it will be huge-Lots of friends in this forum will take part.

Lets take Germany.
1a player to control the Kriegsmarine-incl. uboats
1b Player to control the Luftwaffe
1c Player controlling the military northwest
1d Player controlling the military southeast.

Same goes for UK, USA. Japan only need three players.

I have in my thought been thinking that the players have free will-If friend 1a and friend 1b chose to work together instead of against each other like it was in the real world-They are free to do so.
The only thing we must follow is the timeline.
Player 1a can't send type 21 Uboats to sea year before they were launch according to the military history.

Japan does not have to attack Pearl Harbour. An example they follow the timeline and instead they attack Russia on this day December 7 1941.

The question is does countries like Australia need four players ? would 2 be enough.

My idea is just floating on the surface.
