Hy crazyivan,
So you´re playing Grey Wolfes Mod campaign i´d say you have ran into a minefield. GW has heavily mined the channel as well as the english east coast and other places. You can open the campaign scr layer file in the mission editor => Silenthunter3-folder/data/campaigns/campaign/Campaign_SCR.mis and have a look for yourself. To avoid the mines it´s best not to run the channel at all :p but if your really want, try staying on the surface. Hope for calm seas.

I don't think it's just GW. Similiar event happened to me yesterday with NYGMv2 - westbound off the Calais coast daylight, heavy storms, submerged, boat took instant damage everywhere. Had to sit on the bottom for hours (using the LRT mod)while repairs accomplished. Fuel tank damaged and lost 90% of fuel. Made it back to Wilhelmshaven on 1 prop and 1 rudder. Very cool!

It may be a minefield as all the major mods have some
I use SH3 gen which gives me a rough location of all minefields depending on the accuracy I choose |
