Saw it last year and loved it. Found it a bit slow to start, but once the season gets going, it is pure classic Star Trek.
I have never been a fan of TNG, seems to be a generation thing, I grew up with Kirk, so that is my Star Trek. One of my partners grew up with TNG so that is his fav. We have had discussions about which is better, since we are both Trekkies, but this show is very good.

I do not have Amazon tv, I can't tell if ST Picard is good or not.
I can only tell from a personal view on Star Trek in general-I will most likely like it. I do not have CBS All Access, so even this new upcoming series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. A series I would love to see Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. I can't be the only one who have been thinking what could Pike tell us, which adventure has he and his crew been on ? But I do not have CBS All Access. I place my hope that these two series will be on Danish Netflix. Markus
