^ It's all good and I agree with you. The other Battleships didn't get as much press. I think perhaps it's because a number of them were repaired and placed back in service. Arizona and Utah were of course not as fortunate. It was up to the other Battleships, Cruisers and Aircraft Carriers and their aircraft to avenge the losses of these battleships and their crews. Let's not forget about the U.S Submarine forces. With the Pacific surface rebuilding, The U.S Submarine force, using largely antiquated subs, performed well and had success, well out of proportion, relative to their limited numbers.

The wartime production and capacity of the U.S proved that these ships ( Battleships ) could be repaired / replaced. The men and crews lost on these ships were irreplaceable. I think we can all agree on that.

The anger and rage servicemen felt would serve them well for the fight they all had in front of them. Many were little more than boys when they enlisted in the various service arms and gave everything they had and made the ultimate sacrifices in defense of their country, freedom and the defeat of tyranny. That extends to the U.K, Canada, Australia and New Zealand and the other allies who fought as much and as just as hard.

It's no wonder they are called the greatest generation.

Btw, the video's posted as you mentioned are great.
