I don't agree with this translation. In this sentence, "Il a donc requis" doesn't sound french at all, and I'm french

You should forget translation engine, except for the words you don't know, because such engine makes often ridiculous sentences

Umm, the text was actually based on text provided by a real Frenchman. No electronic translator at all.

As it's consistent with previous text provided by the same man, who I believe was involved with the French translation of SH3, I'll keep it, until you all come up with one consensus.

I know that, but I think he has used a translator because of this translation
"Il a donc requis" is really not french, this form of the sentence is bad, and believe me I like french ^^

I agree with Storminon : the end of my sentence is not correct. but the English word "required" obscured my mind and I couldn't find the correct form.

The (at least "a") goof one is "Cet homme d'équipage a été décoré de la Verwundetenabzeichen. Il a donc requis aux critères d'attribution de l’U-Boot-Kriegsabzeichen.''



For the begining, I've decided to keep the German terms for the medals, the rank, etc.

Go for it. The main files needing translation would be "SH3Cmdr_**.txt" and "Menu variable_**.txt"
