Oman applaudes the Emiratis for their coup on Twitter, I could imagine threy will follow next, its possible thouigh not certain.

Erdoghan threatense to break diplomatic ties with the UAE.

I wonder how the Saudis will formally position themselve son the UAE-Israeli agreement. Like practically all Sunni arabs, they are quite pissed by the Palestinian Arabs, and their love with Iran and Hezbollah.

We have forgotten to mention that there might be a quite direct trigger behind the agreement: remember the attacks on the biggest Saudi oil facilities two (two?) years ago...!?

Looks good on paper and sounds good on the news soundbites, but...

...the UAE has long been a source of funding for various terrorist organizations and I don't think that's going to change anytime, soon; while the agreement may be 'working' at the high governmental levels, there still persists the situation of UAE citizens actively funneling funds to terrorists and the agreement really does nothing to remedy the problem; it is very much like the case with the Saudi's where, while the government makes claims and protestations SA is not funding or otherwise supporting terrorism all the while knowing some of its citizens, including not a few of the Saudi Royal Family, are actively supporting terrorists; it will be the same with the UAE where UAE citizens will actively continue to fund/support terrorists while the UAE government looks the other way...

Nothing has really, significantly changed; the UAE has just managed a little 'burnishing' of its global image while acquiring a new degree of 'plausible deniability; I'll believe the UAE is serious when they start prosecuting their own citizens who are now, or in the future, supporting terrorism...
