haha, when I first played and was playing stock my prop got blown off and maybe rudder too in Manila bay. All I could do was sit there and torp ships that came by. Once out of torps, surfaced and used guns until we died...

One solution, \Data\zones.cfg file.

Hunt for datablocks like;

[Rudders]
Category=Propulsion
Multiplier=1.000000
Flotability=0.000000
HitPoints=10
Destructible=No
Armor Level=-1
Critic Flotation=0.300000
Critical=Yes
FloodingTime=60
CargoType=None

[Propellers]
Category=Propulsion
Multiplier=1.000000
Flotability=0.000000
HitPoints=20
Destructible=Yes
Armor Level=-1
Critic Flotation=0.300000
Critical=Yes
FloodingTime=59.999996
CargoType=None

Change the armor level to 1000, no more destroyed rudders or props. The "destructable" yes or no has no effect that I can see, if it says no it can still be destroyed.
