Almost thrown out of IWM Duxford back in 2012 for crossing the rope and touching the bugger.

Just plead out insanity: "all my Dux ain't in row...Sir" This one is at McMinnville's Evergreen Air Museum where my daughter interned while enroute to her MA in Museum Science incl. the Smithsonian and her own Robert Lewis Stevenson Museum presently. I got to sit in the Hughes' Spruce Goose pilot seat on one visit over her four year sojourn there...the massive wing of which is over the SR-71 exhibit there A total of 32 SR-71's were built and 12 were lost in accidents...20 are in museums...It's simply one of my favorite aircraft for sheer audacity of concept, ie getting the titanium from Russia; and absolute unparalleled performance. Here's a tour: https://monolithdesign.com/articles/evergreen-aviation-space-museum/

The Spruce Goose massive cargo interior looks weirdly like the set of The Time Tunnel TV show... which is what a good museum does!
