The default location can cause problems, whether with the 4gb patch, I do not know.

I know most of those mods wouldn't affect fatigue, but to be sure, look in their files and if they have either a Basic.cfg or crew config.cfg in them, they could as both of these files have fatigue parts in them.
Thanks John.

As I said, I tried opening the files but got the message 'unable to find software for the selected file' and I cant open it.
Any ideas?

I've tried starting a new campaign and the same problem. I also think the weather seems suspiciously nice. This may have been affected too.

Also, when I did the original uninstall, I did it from the uninstall option on the DVD. Could there be files left over elsewhere? I know about the SH3 file in My Documents which I removed.

- Have you tried opening the mod files by themselves, outside of the game, or are you talking about trying to access them in the game ? If the latter, try the former.

- weather is controlled by the envsim.act file in your mail game directory. You can check dates on it to see if it's been changed/the version you want.

- Not that I know of; you did the My documents. Just check the install folder if you haven't already and it never hurts to run a registry cleanup. CCLeaner is a good one.

I'm trying to open the files outside of the game. I get the message 'unable to find software for the selected file'.

That is strange. Maybe a corrupted download.

OK I've reinstalled game at recommended location:

C:SHIII

Installed 4gb patch.

So far so good. Fatigue is back.

I'll next try mods.

One thought, did I read somewhere NOT to apply mods while in campaign? Do I have to be in port?

Great ! Any other problems, fire away. Do each mod one at a time, test game, etc. That will let you know if/which mod is the culprit.

Thanks again for your help John.

Next mod I want to try is Manos environments. This is confusing as there are several choices in the folder. Itried before but I wasn't sure if it was doing anything different.

My setup so far is:

4gb patch.

JGSME

Running Win7

Nvidia card. (Not sure which type?)

Here are the Manos files. Which would you recommend?

M.E.P v5 - VisualSensors for WAC v5.2

M.E.P v5 - VisualSensors for WAC5

M.E.P v6 - VisualSensors for WAC v5.2

M.E.P v6 - VisualSensors for WAC5

ManosEnvironmentPro v1.1

ManosEnvironmentPro v2.1

ManosEnvironmentPro v3 +FIX pack+Sensors

ManosEnvironmentPro v4.2

ManosEnvironmentPro v5

ManosEnvironmentPro v5 with GREEN Water

ManosEnvironmentPro v6

Update M.E.P v4.2 to v4.3

Thankyou!
